Tenugui Pocket Tissue Case Making Workshop

Tenugui Pocket Tissue Case Making Workshop

Tenugui is a type of traditional Japanese towel. Unlike Western terrycloth towels, tenugui has a smooth texture and can therefore be used for various purposes other than drying. The endless assortment of patterns – from fun and quirky interpretations of everyday items to artistic and sophisticated designs – makes tenugui fun to collect!

At this workshop, we will introduce a simple way to make your very own pocket tissue case from a piece of tenugui bearing your favourite pattern.
