The World Curry Festival (WCF) has been established as PIHEC’S main highlight for the past two years since its inception in 2015. In 2017, we are focusing at the possibility of WCF to be staged as a “stand alone” event to be held coinciding with the annual school holidays in March.
Once decision has been made, it will be an outdoor event at the Padang Kota Lama fronting Penang’s historic monument of the City Hall; an event that celebrates the love and passion for food, culture and community. Foodies from far and wide will be treated with tantalising street food, scrumptious of market stall goodies as well as variety of cultural performances.
