Protestant Cemetery
Francis Light was one of the earliest Englishmen to come to rest here.
Others included several governors of the Settlements, James Richardson Logan, David Brown of Glugor Estate and Reverend Hutchings.
Buried here is also Thomas Leonowens, husband of Anna of The King and I or Anna and the King fame, who passed away at age 31 in 1859, leaving his widow stranded in the East.
Most of the graves at the Protestant Cemetery are built as squarish tombs.
