Enjoy an evening of high culture and fine food featuring the literary works of Hermann Hesse at E & O Hotel’s 1885 restaurant.
Hermann Hesse is one of Germany’s greatest and most influential writers of the 20th century. He was awarded the Nobel Literature Prize in 1946. He travelled widely in Asia and even stayed at the E & O Hotel when he visited Penang in the year 1911. The evening will feature bi-lingual (German and English) readings from Hesse’s novels and poems interspersed with music and songs from that era.
A special set menu of fine European & Asian delicacies has been prepared for this unique event.
